You open .env, copy a block “just for context”, paste into ChatGPT / Claude / an internal bot — and a production key leaves your machine.

Safe Copy (Premium) puts a masked version on the clipboard so collaboration with AI tools does not require manually scrubbing every line.

When to use it

• Pasting env snippets into AI assistants
• Sharing config shape without values
• Pairing when someone else can see your paste buffer

Detection still warns you. Safe Copy helps when you *intend* to paste — safely.

Contract checks (Free)

Teams keep .env.example as the schema and .env as local secrets. Drift between them causes “works on my machine” and missing keys in CI.
