2. NgC SafeEnv (JetBrains plugin)

What the plugin does

NgC SafeEnv scans file contents locally inside your IDE to:

  • highlight possible secrets,
  • compare .env with .env.example,
  • mask values for Safe Copy / Blur Mode,
  • preview secrets in local VCS changes.

Data we process

  • File text currently open or selected in the IDE (processed locally).
  • Plugin settings stored locally by the IDE (e.g. enable inspections).

What we do NOT do

  • We do not upload your .env files or source code to NextGenCode servers.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not require a NextGenCode account to use free features.

3. Purchases (JetBrains Marketplace)

Paid licenses are handled by JetBrains Marketplace billing. JetBrains processes payment data under their own privacy terms. We do not store your card numbers.

4. Website (nextgencode.dev)

When you visit our website we may process standard server logs (IP, user agent, pages visited) and information you send via contact forms or email. Portfolio-specific GDPR details for site users are also described at /privacy-policy.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact ngencode.dev@gmail.com.
